Meet Your Practitioners

Randy Sansen
Founder of Lumana

Randy is a Sound Therapist, Yoga Teacher, and Yoga Therapy student with a passion for creating spaces that support rest, self-awareness, and meaningful connection.

Drawing from therapeutic sound, yoga, meditation, breath practices, and contemplative traditions, his work is rooted in the belief that wellbeing begins when we slow down, listen inward, and create space for ourselves just as we are. His approach is grounded, inclusive, and accessible, blending ancient wisdom with contemporary understandings of nervous system health and wellbeing.

Randy is a certified Peter Hess® Sound Practitioner and has completed additional sound therapy training through Rooted in Sound and the International Sound Therapy Association (ISTA). He is also a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) and is currently enrolled in a 1000+ hour Yoga Therapy program through Yoga Therapy Toronto, grounded in the lineage and teachings of T. Krishnamacharya and T.K.V. Desikachar. In addition to his private and group work, Randy develops and facilitates therapeutic sound, yoga, and mindfulness programs for organizations including the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH).

Whether guiding a group sound experience, offering a private session, or working with individuals one-on-one, Randy’s intention is simple: to create a welcoming environment where people can rest, reconnect, and explore the innate wisdom that already exists within them.

Her teaching blends the ancient wisdom
of yoga with the realities of modern life, offering practices that support nervous system health while remaining accessible and relevant to contemporary needs. She is committed to creating spaces that feel inclusive, welcoming, and free from judgment, where people can show up exactly as they are.

Corporate wellness experiences

Bring therapeutic sound, yoga, and nervous system support into your workplace. Our experiences are designed to help teams reduce stress, improve focus, build connection, and support overall wellbeing.

Sound Baths

Deep rest sound bath: An immersive sound experience designed to support deep rest and relaxation. Layers of resonant sound from gongs, singing bowls, and other therapeutic instruments create space to slow down, settle the mind, and reconnect with stillness. This class is intentionally grounding, spacious, and restorative.

Immersive sound journey: An immersive sound experience exploring resonance, texture, rhythm, and atmosphere through gongs, singing bowls, chimes, and other expressive instruments.

Unlike a traditional sound bath focused primarily on rest, Sound Journey moves through moments of intensity, spaciousness, stillness, and movement — creating a rich and deeply immersive listening experience.

Each journey is unique.

Sound Massage

Sound massage is a deeply relaxing therapeutic experience that uses specially designed singing bowls placed on and around the body. The bowls are gently played, allowing both sound and subtle vibrations to be felt throughout the body.

Many people describe the experience as calming, grounding, and deeply restorative. The combination of sound, vibration, and stillness can help quiet the mind, ease tension, and support the body’s natural capacity for rest and recovery.

Unlike traditional massage, there is no manipulation of muscles or tissues. Clients remain fully clothed and simply rest comfortably while receiving the sounds and vibrations of the bowls.

Each session is tailored to the individual and may support:

  • Deep relaxation

  • Stress reduction

  • Nervous system regulation

  • Increased body awareness

  • A sense of calm, balance, and wellbeing

While sound massage is not a medical treatment, it can be a valuable complement to other wellness practices and may help create the conditions for rest, restoration, and self-healing.

(coming soon)

A grounding blend of yin yoga and immersive sound designed to support stillness, presence, and nervous system balance.

Our Approach

We believe that rest is not a luxury—it is an essential part of wellbeing.

Our offerings are designed to create supportive conditions for relaxation, self-awareness, and nervous system balance through sound, yoga, meditation, breath practices, and mindful rest. Rather than focusing on performance or achievement, we invite you to slow down, listen inward, and connect with your experience just as it is.

Our work is rooted in the rich traditions of yoga, meditation, and contemplative practices that originated in the East, while also drawing upon contemporary understandings of wellbeing. We strive to offer these teachings in a way that is accessible, inclusive, and relevant to modern life.

We recognize that every person arrives with a unique body, history, and set of needs. Our approach is grounded in choice, accessibility, and respect for individual experience. Whether participating in a group class or a private session, you are always encouraged to move, rest, and engage in ways that feel supportive for you.

We do not believe that practitioners heal others. Instead, we aim to create welcoming spaces where people can rest, reconnect, and access the innate wisdom and resilience that already exists within them. We believe this is where healing begins

All are welcome here.

Why we do it

We know how easy it is to become disconnected from ourselves in the pace of modern life.

We offer sound, yoga, meditation, and mindful rest because we have experienced the value of these practices in our own lives. They have taught us how to slow down, listen more deeply, and create space for greater awareness, resilience, and wellbeing.

Our intention is simple: to create welcoming spaces where people can pause, reconnect, and remember that they do not always need to do more. Sometimes, the most meaningful thing we can do is slow down and simply be.
